*As a capital city, Ljubljana is the most appropriate location for organising an international event. On the other hand, there are many beekeepers' centres around Slovenia that are worth to visit.
Four locations have been chosen by the Slovenian Beekeepers' Association to host the Satellite Symposia on Friday, 1 October, 2010: Maribor, Bled, Lipica and Dolenjske toplice.
Each location has very modern facilities that can accommodate participants and also gather a local audience. Participants of the Forum on will have the opportunity to select one of the locations to participate in the satellite symposia depending on the topic they are interested in.
All four locations will be connected by a video conference system, so participants at each location can choose either the live session or video sessions from other locations. At each venue, there will be a main hall and three smaller halls for video transmissions from the other locations.
The organisers will take care of transfers and other logistics and the Local Beekeeping Societies will take care of the hospitality and a pleasant atmosphere!
