1st International Conference of Beekeeping Organisation in the EU and Beyond

27 September 2010, Brdo pri Lukovici, Slovenia

The Slovenian Beekeepers’ Association, Public Extension Service on Beekeeping, is organising the 1st international Conference of Beekeeping Organisations in the EU and beyond. It will host representatives of beekeeping organisations from various countries, who will debate on topics related to beekeeping. The main theme of the conference is to present the structure of the beekeepers’ organisations and current issues related to beekeeping in individual countries.
This presentation of the structure of beekeepers’ organisations and current issues related to beekeeping is aimed at determining the correspondences between these countries. The joint findings and conclusions from the conference will be sent to the competent institutions in the European Union.
