Information for Forum participants

VISA REQUIREMENTS AND THE LETTER OF INVITATION

Business travellers are urged to consider whether they need a visa to travel to Slovenia to participate
in a conference or meeting. EU citizens do not need to possess a visa, simply travelling on either a passport or ID card. Non-EU citizens are kindly advised to check the requirements at the website of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: http://www.mzz.gov.si/en

Technical Organiser will provide a letter of invitation on individual request. It does not place any obligation on the Organisers to cover fees or provide refunds for travelling or living expenses.

VENUE

GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre has a rich tradition and experience ever since its establishment in 1954. It is the largest congress and events centre in Slovenia, completely renovated in 2005. It comprises 20 multifuncitonal halls on 12,680 m2 which can be arranged to suit up to 4,000 dlegates. It is located in the centre of Ljubljana. www.gr-sejem.si

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of the Forum is English. Simultaneous translation from English to Slovenian will be provided for the plenary sessions.
For translation from other languages National Beekeepers Associations shall contact the Organisers. In case of sufficent number of participants, Organiser can arrange translation to additional language.

REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION DESK AT GR – LJUBLJANA EXHIBITION AND CONVENTION CENTRE

The Registration desk, located at the GR main entrance, Dunajska cesta 17, Ljubljana, will be open
from Tuesday, September 28 from 14.00 to Friday, October 1, untill 14.00

INTERNET ACCESS

GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention centre will provide wireless connection to internet for participants of the Forum free of charge. Participants should ask for the password at the Registration desk.

FORUM IDENTIFICATION BADGES

A Forum identification badge will be included in the participants materials provided at Registration.
There will be no admittance to the scientific sessions without the badge.

CETIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

A certificate of attendance will be issued at the registration desk to registered participants upon request.

COFFEE / TEA BREAKS AND LUNCHES

During the session breaks, refreshments will be sreved free of charge to participants wearing name badges. Buffet lunch is also included in the registration fee of Forum participants in Ljubljana (September 29 and 30) and at satellite symposia venues on October 1, 2010.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

All participants are reminded that Organisers (Slovenian Beekeeping Association, GO.MICE and GR-Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre) are not liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or private property during the Forum in Slovenia. Participants and accompanying persons are requested to make their own arrangements in respect of helath and travel insurance.
