Call for Abstracts - Additional Deadline for Submission: (posters only): June 15,2010
Until June 15, 2010 you can submit an abstract for the poster presentation for active participation at the Forum. Oral presentations are filled and closed.
MAIN TOPICS
- Quality of honeybee products: focus on organic production - standards and legislation, trademarks, local and global market.
- Beekeeping technology: focussing on technology for higher quality honeybee products, especially for medical use, as well as quality control practice.
- Honeybee products in human nutrition and personal care: focus on the practice in nutrition of children, elderly and other special nutrition requirements for maintaining healthy life.
- Honeybee products in animal nutrition and health care: focussing on horse nutrition and health.
- Honeybee products for human health care: focussing on rheumatology and wound care.
These focuses will have priority in the decision on oral presentation. Other reports relevant to the main topics are welcome as well.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Deadline for submission: 15 June, 2010
Notification of Acceptance: two weeks after submission
Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your abstract.
- Abstracts should be written in English using simple and clear sentences and should not contain figures (pictures, tables, charts,…)
- Max. lenght of the abstract is 2500 characters, including spaces
- Please do not submit abstracts reporting data that has already been published. We expect original reports of past and ongoing research with at least some preliminary results.
- The number of abstracts that can be submitted and/or presented by one person is limited to 2.
- All presenters of abstracts must register for the Forum and pay the registration fee by 15 June, 2010 or the abstracts will not be included in the Book of abstracts. The submission of an abstract does not constitute registration for the Forum.
The Submission of Abstracts
Abstract submission is possible via the
on-line Registration and Abstract Submission Form, where you will be guided through the on-line submission process. An acknowledgement of receipt of your abstract will automatically be sent to your e-mail address. If you do not receive confirmation, your submission was incomplete and needs to be re-submitted.
If you have successfully submitted one abstract and you wish to view it or add another one, please login at the
Abstract Submission Site with your login name and password, you selected by the registration.
Other Means of Submission
If you do not have access to the web, please contact the Program Committee, who will provide detailed information for abstract submission by e-mail or post.
For the Abstract Book and Final Program, only accepted abstracts by registered presenting authors who have paid the registration fee will be considered.
The registration fee must be paid by 15 June, 2010
(for reduced - Early Fee by May 15, 2010).
